Charanawati Khola Hydroelectric Project is developed by Nepal Hydro Developer (P) Limited, with installed capacity of 3.52 MW located at Bhimeshowor Municipality of Dolakha District, Central Development Region of Nepal. The project is a run-of-river type with gross head of 199 m. The average annual generation of energy is 20.529 GWh.
The commercial operation by this project has started from 7th June 2013. The project has 53m long D-shaped tunnel and the total length of penstock pipe is 2959 m along with headrace pipe length.
